FAQ
Do I need to change code to switch from OpenAI to ZetaAPI?
No. The official OpenAI Python/Node SDKs support a custom
base_url — change just that one parameter and your API key. The rest of your code is untouched. How do I set up Claude Code?
Set two environment variables:
ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://api.staging.cosmos-router.com and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=sk-xxxxx, source your shell, then run claude. Full steps in the Claude Code setup guide. Do you support function calling / tool use?
Yes. OpenAI’s
tools parameter and Anthropic’s tools are both passed through to the upstream unchanged. Streaming SSE, structured output and parallel tool calls are all supported. Are my prompts and responses logged?
By default prompt and response content is not logged — only metadata (model name, token counts, latency, status code) is kept for billing and monitoring for 90 days. Content is logged for 7 days only if you explicitly enable “debug logs”. Staff cannot access user content, and the audit log is public.
